Dr. Sharon Kim,
Vice-President
Dr. Kim started as a Specialist Consultant at Trillium Health Partners' WSIB Clinic in 2009 and became an Associate within the Division of Plastic Surgery at THP in 2017. She served as a Physician Lead for the hand surgery service at THP and has been an active member of various committees, including THP accreditation, physician recruitment panels and the search committee for U of T Chair of Plastic Surgery.
She has served as Secretary of the Professional Staff Association (PSA), including overseeing the duties of the Treasurer. Dr. Kim strives to model and sustain a positive environment for Professional Staff to enhance professional quality of life and in turn the quality of patient care at THP. She will represent and advocate on behalf of the Professional Staff at THP and endeavor to create an environment of trust and support the best interests of the Professional Staff. Dr. Kim will work to foster leadership development to ensure Professional Staff can play an effective role in governance, decision-making, and planning.
As PSA Vice President, Dr. Kim Co-Chairs the PSA Business Meetings, and is a member of the THP Board of Directors, the Medical Advisory Committee, Credentials Committee, and the Fiscal Advisory Committee.
