First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Urban Indigenous Cancer Strategy 2019-2023

First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Urban Indigenous Cancer Strategy

More than 15,000 people in our region identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit. As a Regional Cancer Program, we work together with Ontario Health’s Indigenous Cancer Care Unit, as well as First Nations, Inuit, Métis and urban Indigenous peoples to understand and meet the unique needs of Indigenous people. We follow Ontario Health’s Indigenous Cancer Strategy to ensure the highest quality of cancer care for First Nations, Inuit and Métis and urban Indigenous peoples in the region.
