Breast Cancer Screening at Trillium Health Partners

We offer breast cancer screening from two locations:

We have many services to check for breast cancer and find it early. Your family doctor may send you to us to:

  • Have a mammogram or ultrasound (tests that take pictures of the inside of your breast)
  • Have a breast biopsy (taking a small piece of tissue from your breast)
  • Meet with a nurse navigator (an expert who will organize your appointments and tests, and help you understand your care)
  • Meet with a surgeon because you have symptoms that could be signs of cancer
  • Meet with a surgeon to review the results of your mammogram, ultrasound, and/or breast biopsy

Diagnostic Assessment Program

A Diagnostic Assessment Program (D.A.P) looks after your care until cancer is ruled out, or you are diagnosed with cancer.
